Find a spare SSD, download the win10 install USB ISO, temporarily swap out the hard disk with the SSD, install windows, update bios, replace old disk and wipe the SSD for some other use
The BIOS update almost certainly does nothing to the machine that helps you with Mint on it. Most of the BIOS updates seem to be released when the CPU makers release updates to their microcode, so all that happens after a BIOS update is the CPU gets updated microcode loaded during POST instead of during the Linux kernel boot.
