I’ve had pretty good luck with a pair of Reolink RLC-520A PoE outdoor cameras. they have both a low and a high resolution video streams. They have various features built in that I don’t use. I just capture with ffmpeg or you can use Zoneminder etc. if routing cable is not possible, there are wi-fi versions. Some capture onto SD drive. the reolink software is windows only but works well in WINE for initial setup. I then set my router to fixed IP reservation and block the cameras from the internet. -Ed
