Okay, so out here in Hillsboro, there's pretty much only Ziply Fiber or (i guess Comcast) for high speed internet. i've got a business account with Ziply with a static ip for $75 (now $80 as of last month). Welp, Ziply just tacked on another $20 for Paperless Billing and Automatic Bill Payment. Now this is supposed to be a discount to the regular service fee, according to ORS 83.090, not a punitive additional charge (one that penalizes you for not signing up). Going from $75 up to $100 in one month came as a bit of a wtf moment for me and i'm not sure how i want to handle it.
Also, does anyone have any experience getting Ziply to re-point the PTR on their IP? Any ex Frontier or CenturyLink guys out there? This is not a new account.- gbk
