I'm trying to configure my system so I can run PINE to get my mail
(currently using kmail or Netscape). on my standalone machine. Every time
I run fetchmail, I get these wierd errors:
fetchmail: SMTP connect to localhost failed
fetchmail: Query status=SMTP
The program connects to my ISP's mail server and even counts the messages
available. The errors come when it tries to rerad the messages and forward
them to localhost (my machine, right?). What am I doing wrong.
BTW, I don't have the fetchmailconf program. The PC uses a dialup account.
