to give people a more detailed description of the problem. i tried
modifying the /etc/pcmcia/config file already add manually added an entry
for this PCMCIA card instructing it to use the module pcnet_cs. however,
it does not work in redhat. for slackware, i did the same thing and all i
hear is a high beep and a low beep meaning card was detected but cannot be
configured.
