You didn't mention kung anong version running yung bind mo but definitely, it's 8.x.x
example: if your primary domain is mydom.com, ito ang ilalagay mo sa secondary nameserver mo sa /etc/named.conf

type slave; // makes the server a secondary
file "named.host.mydom-secondary"; // automagically ma kre-create ito
