hi everyone...

how can i prevent someone from within my network segment from assigning a static IP to
his/her workstation? i have the whole /24 defined in my routing table. though not that
rampant, but it's one form of stealing, right?

i have already given them their ip allocation and it's up to them to assign it within
their LAN. but i can still monitor 2 workstations via my sniffer who's IP addresses
are out of their scope/assignment?

any ideas?

thanks
