that's true! aside from vms, its threading is far superior than linux.... linux
doesnt perform well at higher loads!

aside form vms again, freebsd syscalls is pretty damn much faster than linux.
actually even the undernet linux operators are already agree that freebsd is far
better than linux. nakakatuwa pa nga nung araw kasi sila mismo nag aaway about
freebsd vs linux hehehe.. freebsd outperform linux in all aspects like virtual
memory management, threading, syscalls, tcp/ip stack, security and many more.

hehehee grabe ka naman.. this is due to linux bazaar style compare to freebsd
cathedrical style of implementing the codes.. freebsd tech people are very strict
when analayzing someone code. unlike linux, this is what linus gives him a
headache.

actually do not under estimate the power of windows. if you could take a look the
people working behind microsoft, they are not just an average people but they are
doctorates and other highest distinction of degree that they achieved. aside from
building and improving their operating systems, they are excelling in other fields
of technology.

but hey! :-> this is too far from the subject... what computer skills should a high
school graduate have? well for me, its not actually a computer skills but have a
*solid* foundation of *mathematics*. because computer derive from compute, so there
are lots of computing going on to tackle!

my four peso fare value worth,

fooler.
