hi everyone,
in relation to the recent thread about oracle, i've
encountered some incompatibilities with oracle. it
seems to prefer only RedHat; I've tried Mandrake 7.1
and it wouldn't install (clicking on the "Next" button
in the installer wouldn't make it budge at all!). This
is kinda weird since Mandrake claims they are directly
descended from Red Hat.
anybody with similar experiences with oracle? i used
oracle 8i 8.1.6 for linux.
