check if you have /etc/resolv.conf and put your nameservers on that file.

Good day to all!
I just finished backing up all my files on my old DNS server
now all is set up its working fine but it cannot ping outside sites
like if i ping yahoo.. it says unknown host : yahoo.com
can anyone tell me? did i left something?
