its not much of the colors but its more of the wire pairs
if you do not use the right pair (the wires which are twisted together i.e.
twisted pair)you will have what we call a mismatched pair and therefore
would induce attentuation (signal degradation) than actually cancelling it..
it could induce crosstalk and this means more data re-transmissions because
some pacjets might be corrupted and more re-trans means slower response
times..
