i am not familiar with qmail-pop3d but i know
qpopper, maybe i can give you a hint.


in qpopper, this means that it can not see
the shadow file. I need to something as
--enable-specialauth in the "./configure" for
this to work.

I assume, qmail-pop3d have this kind of
parameters too.
