sensya na.i am new to linux...dont know if i should

i have a question which is better to use qt or gtk+?
from what i have read...gtk was used to create Gnome
and qt for KDE. I like the Gnome interface much better
than the KDE but they say that qt is based on c++
and is object oriented while gtk+ is based on C
althought the interface is much like OOP...
