In a nutshell, here are thet things you need do:
0. Find the appropriate driver for your other ethernet card. It may be
included in your ethernet card's driver disk. For more info. on the
drivers, please refer to the Ethernet-HOWTO.
1. Build the driver either as a module, or into the kernel.
2. Setup your boot loader to pass the "ether" argument to the Linux
