You're absolutely welcome. That was payback for all the wonderful replies
I got from the "older" (wiser?) PLUGgers when I was new and asking all
sorts of questions.

I don't think so. Besides, knowing PLUG's culture, you'll get flamed if
you're too cocky, so it won't be hard to tell. Hehehe. ;>

I am from UP Manila, not Diliman. So we neither have a Linux room, nor any
engineering courses. Unfortunately the curriculum of BSCS in UPM is ...
not so good from the Linux perspective. They're only starting to introduce
Linux, and only to the higher years for some subjects. The rest of us
still have to deal with Winblows and sh*t like that. I'm fortunate to have
been invited to volunteer with the Information Management Systems Office
(IMS) in UP PGH courtesy of Ariel Betan and Eric Pareja, both members of
PLUG (I think, or at least the mailing list!).

I wish we had the freedom to pick what compiler/platform to work on. I'd
love to go GCC+Linux while the rest do TurboC+DOS.

Anyone "up there" who can help convince the people at the Department of
Physical Science and Mathematics, College of Arts and Sciences, University
of the Philippines - Manila? (obviously my Christmas wish hasn't come true
... yet. I'm hoping until the Three Kings).

PS- my apologies to everyone if this is going a little OT.

 --> Jijo :-)
