For a start you can try www.freshmmeat.net . IMP from horde.org is good
although it is IMAP based and be ready to install mysql and do some
tweaking on apache's conf (if your using one). Atdot is a good choice also
from www.atdot.org. You can make a "hotmail" like style web based email
where email accounts can easily be added by users. You can also try emumail
......it's not free but it's worth a try :) Hope this helps.
