In order for this to work, you have to have another boot loader, such as
OS/2 Boot Manager.  If you do it like this, LILO's only function will be
to load Linux, and your other boot loader will do all the hard work.  You
*must* install LILO on the MBR if you want it to multi-boot Linux or any
other OS you might have.  Only install it on some other partition if you
have a different boot loader.
