even though it doesn't look like a modem at all, it's really good. One of
our dedicated line client uses this 24x7 and it still haven't failed even
after a year of use.

another good modem to go for are microcom, and practical peripherals (I
think it's named practical nowadays)

OTOH, if you could shell 10k pesos ... go for USR courier ... looks like
it came from the 50's but it haven't failed me yet, and we're using it 
when reliability comes first ...

one rule though just avoid those cheap winModems ... (alas! even USR got
one)
