some people i know don't like the climate on this list. hehe 
they should really stop making claims they can't back up either and if
they want to, shouldn't they be "partnering" with existing linux user
groups to really promote open source?

if they've really been around that long too, they'd have at least
mentioned Free Software Foundation somewhere... which i still feel
deserves a lot of credit.

the trouble with true hackers is a lot of 'em may be wizards with the
machine, but horrible with Public Relations. some of us should prolly 
learn to spew hot air. heheh [minus the stink]

true enough... now what i'd really like to see is what "real" open source
programs they've turned out and where those projects are that their
students should be churning out.

now where the hell are those projects PLUG folks are participating in?

my contributions to free software are negligible, being a line of code
here and there (bug-fixes), and hardly any full blown packages to speak
of. though i have one in the back burner.
