#Destiny uses COM21, Motorola and NEC cable modems for corporate,
#residential and residential customers respectively. It's no accident
#really that they work because their Headend systems support all three by
#design.

Cable internet equipments are way ahead then xDSL as far as
interoperability goes..
Back in early 1998, I had a chance to work w/ early cable gears at 3COM
while trying to make our app work with their gears -- the version of the
3COM cable modem then freaked out when our app rachets the bandwidth to
1.5Mbps.. anyway, back then CableLabs was already being setup so cable
equipments can be tested for DOCSIS (Data Over Cable Service Interface
Specification) compliance.
Now for xDSL, the last time I checked (2 yrs ago), only G.Lite had
compliance testing group.. I can't say the same for other DSL-related
standards.
Mayroon ba sa inyong nakakaalam ng grupo na nagsesertipika ng mga
kagamitan sa xDSL?
stay cool.
