Hello.

Downloaded from sun the solaris 8 binaries. Ran installation fine,
partitioned the disk using default values, rebooted and then:

                 Part#   Status    Type      Start       Length
                ================================================
                   1     Active   X86 BOOT  somevalue
                   2              SOLARIS   somevalue
                   3     Active   X86 BOOT  somevalue
                   4              <unused>
               Please select the partition you wish to boot:

so I chose 1 (actually i found it weird there were 2 active partitions as
I only made one) ...

<bootdev>: cannot open: -no media in drive
<bootdev>: cannot open a: -no media in drive
prom_panic: could not mount filesystem

Ulch! .. looks bad :( Tips?

Also, thinking it might be with the way I partitioned the disks, I tried
redoing the installation, only to see it reboot the system everytime it
hits "Welcome to Solaris version blah blah" !!!

I would appreciate tips/URLs.  Thanks!
