I cannot send you any file using my browser (ftp server policy probably).

Anyway, the 3 boxes I am referring to, are connected to a hub which is now uplinked to
the main network. I also changed the configuration of the 3 boxes. I enabled them as
DHCP clients, including the server. The gateway was also set so that they can look up
on the DHCP server. Workstation2 is working fine now, I am using it right now for
sending this email...

The other boxes (workstation1 and server) are not working properly. The following has
been done already:

1. Reinstalled Mandrake 7.2
2. Set the network configuration to DHCP enabled and configured the gateway
3. Checked if the dhcpcd is running (timed out, including in reboot)
4. Reinstalled dhcpd service (rpm -Uvh --force dhcpcd*.rpm --nodeps) from the
installation disk
5. Reboot the boxes (eth0 for both nonworking boxes failed to lookup for IP)
6. Used static IPs. Didn't work also

When I ran ifconfig eth0, walang inet address na nakukuha. Ganoon din pag 'dhcpcd -d
eth0', timed out din

Somebody told me that it might be the NIC. Pero dalawa kasing PCs to na ang isa bago
pa lang.... Kaya di ako maniwala na NIC ito...

Please advice.....
