I am probably just ignorant but I've written an MTA in Perl that talks to
Postfix. It certainly works quite well on ReiserFS. I got around the
lack-of-locking on ReiserFS by using dot-locking (which coincidentally
also works over NFS, thus solving my clustering issues nicely).
