unfortunately, we don't have a speaker on the line-up to talk about this.
we had roel ocampo - director of up computer center - scheduled to talk
about up diliman's experience (they have an 11-processor sgi which i think
they're seriously thinking of giving up because of the maintenance cost
involved), but he declined at the last minute because of workload.
in any case, i hope you can use the event to network.
email me if you wish to arrange a room at the venue for this. i'll try if
i can still get the 30 seater conference room of phivolcs. otherwise,
there's an open area at the back of the auditorium which we'll be using as
exhibit area.
