No need to sound so desperate  :-)  visit www.cyclades.com for a multi-port
board that works out of the box with linux (i.e. it supports Linux
natively).  There's a Philippine reseller but I lost the contact info.  If
you want it e-mail me privately and I'll try to look for it.
