RH2? Red Hat 6.2 perhaps?
Well, pppoe is included in RH 7.1 so it should only be a matter of
configuring it.

If you're lucky, your DSL modem will have up to three interfaces:
1. ATM
2. USB
3. Eth
All of which are supported by Linux.
