I successfully connected using Jarl. Simple configuration actually. Just
put jabber.ph.inter.net as the server and choose "create a new account".
Upon connecting, choose "Jarl->Groupchat" then enter plug as the group name.

I also tried using everybuddy but I can't seem to do a group chat. I can
successfully enter the server though and can do one-on-one chat.

My nick's deds.
