i have set up a linux server with dns, dhcp, mail, proxy. there are
two nics on this server: one i assigned a public ip and the other a
private ip. the router is connected to the nic with the public ip and
the switch (feeding the the local pcs) is connected to the nic with
the private ip. dhcp is providing private ips to the pcs. the pcs are
able to browse the internet.
however, the users can't download mail (from another mail server)
through pop. any ideas?
