Hi fellow PLUGgers,

This is a little OT as it's not Linux specific, but I was hoping someone
out there could help me in finding a locally available USB to Serial
converter that works on Linux. I'm using both serial ports for two
external modems I have, and need at least one free serial port to connect
this to my APC Back-UPS Pro so that I can shut the server down when
battery is low (using some daemon, of course). Unfortunately I don't know
any other method of connecting the Back-UPS Pro to my server than using a
serial cable.

I know there's a list of compatible USB products for Linux on
<http://www.linux-usb.org/>, but I don't know who sells any of these
locally.

Thanks in advance!

 --> Jijo
