Acalc v0.20, the first Pinoy-made scientific algebraic calculator for PalmOS is now out. You can get it from: http://www.geocities.com/pablo_manalastas/acalc.html The changes from v0.10 to v0.20 are as follows: 1. A bug in the round-off routine before displaying the result has been fixed. 2. The main window now includes keys for the scientific functions, instead of being in the menu bar. 3. Hyperbolic functions are now included. 4. A more natural method of formula entry is now implemented. Pressing a number or function key to start a new computation now erases the input field and starts a new data entry. This is disabled only when the user selects a part of the old expression for editing, in which case the input field is not erased. This program is released as open source software under the GNU General Public License. It was developed under Linux 2.4 using prc-tools 2.0, pilrc 2.7, and pose 3.1, all free tools running under Linux. Pablo Manalastas _ Philippine Linux Users Group.
