Which is why the GPL is our salvation! This is also why Microsoft hates
the GPL so much. As Richard Stallman observed after the Craig Mundie
fiasco: "See, Microsoft would really like to be able to take all the code
that we wrote and put it into proprietary programs, have somebody make
some improvements, or even just incompatible changes is all they need."
He says further: "So they really don't like the GNU GPL. Because the GNU
GPL won't let them do that. It doesn't allow 'embrace and extend.'"
