hi all! uhmmmm, i'm brushing up on how to write loadable kernel modules, and i'm reading the HOW-TO at linuxdocs.org (http://www.linuxdoc.org/HOWTO/Module-HOWTO/x24.html). thing is, i'm not sure if the stuff i'm reading is still applicable to the 2.4 kernel. anyone know a 2.4-specific HOW-TO for writing kernel mods? or is it not all that different from the way its done for the older kernels? TIA! Joel ps. personal research ko lang ito, nuthin' company-work-related. :) -----BEGIN GEEK CODE BLOCK----- Version: 3.12 GCS GIT>GCM d-(+) s: a C++(++++) UL++>++++>$ P+ L+>++++$ E--- W+ N o-- K- w+++$>-- O- M- V- PS !PE Y+@ PGP(-) t++@ 5+@ X-- R tv(--) b++++ DI++(++++) D+ G e++>++++ h--- r+++ y? -----END GEEK CODE BLOCK--- _ Philippine Linux Users Group.
