Nice huh?  When posting to mailing lists or usenet use _plain text_!

Anyway, you're most probably using PAM so editing /etc/securetty won't
help.  If the ff. line appears in your /etc/pam.d/{login,rlogin}
file(s), try commenting it out:

auth     required       /lib/security/pam_securetty.so
