All the boxen will have to have the Informix client-side and a
properly-setup Informix environment. Dunno what that is, but for Oracle
you need Oracle clients and properly-setup environment vars.

Yes, you can copy the $PERLLIB/version/DBI.pm and
$PERLLIB/version/DBD/Informix.so (better yet, just tar your entire
PERLLIB) assuming you don't have versioning problems due to different OS
versions and DLLs.

N.B. for me, I just recompile across-the-board. Installing Oracle client
(which is just the same as the whole d*mn thing, on UNIX) is such a pain
in the *ss that recompiling DBI and DBD is relatively minor by comparison.
