true and as much as possible use ssh version 2.

try putty, is a nice ssh client for windows

im trying to evaluate mindterm ssh client which can be an applet with a
built-in GUI scp support. this is good if you are going to remote places and
doing secure login or tunneling.

try the demo portion at the upper right of this url:

lots of universities in the states are using this. to see what universities
are using this mindterm, goto google and enter mindterm.html.
one example is the berkeley university
