Hi everyone,
I'm using snmpd 4.2.1 on a Debian box with Linux kernel 2.4.5-ac22. I
(finally) got this and mrtg working. I can't figure out what's wrong with
the uptime reporting, though.
As reported by `uptime`: 2 days, 2:05
As reported by `snmpwalk localhost public`:
system.sysUpTime.0 = Timeticks: (343715) 0:57:17.15
As reported by the HTML file generated by mrtg:
The statistics were last updated Monday, 2 July 2001 at 14:15,
at which time 'gusi' had been up for 0:57:06.
These were taken at almost exactly the same time (as close as I could to
14:15:00, where mrtg's cron job runs mrtg to update itself).
Would anyone know where snmp bases its uptime? This is really wierd if you
ask me, but I haven't been around mrtg and/or snmpd for long enough. :)
--> Jijo
