Well, back then I didn't recommend it, however, since MySQL had license
fees then (?, or wasn't open source) and Oracle was (what the heck, it
still is :)) way above our budget, we had to "settle" for PostgreSQL. It
was worth it. As for MySQL, some clients' DBs are hosted on servers that
has support only for MySQL, so I had no choice.
