I tried out some cheap-o P12 700MB CDs which lasted only 2 weeks (it 
became unreadable even with my own CD-R drive). They're just as bad as 
floppy disks.

We've been using Verbatim Metal AZO and Kodak Gold Ultima CD-Rs for 
several months and have had no bad experience with them at all. 
Blue/Gold dye seems to be doing a great job for both reflectivity and 
reliability.

I used to get them at P35.00/CD from Villman, although recently they've 
raised it to P40/CD (I get them for P37/CD, hehehe).

The others that are as popular are those made by Imation and TDK.
