The company currently has a small stock of Mr. Data brand of CD-Rs. They
have been in use for quite awhile, and seem to be pretty okay. I cannot
statistically qualify this, though, and I am glad that you raised the
issue of the quality of silver coating in these generics.

Have you heard of and/or tested this brand (Mr. Data)? If not, perhaps we
could get a suggestion for CD-R brands that have decent quality for a good
price? :)
