ian, thank you for raising that point,
here are some clarifications:
1. this is NOT a pure q-linux event, the bosses said they could sponsor
snacks for maybe no more than 70 to 100 people and rent a small place for the
event. kaya i was asking, at the lower portion of my email, for companies and
orgs to volunteer something for the event to give it the relevance, grandness,
and importance it deserves.
2. APC, Ateneo, ISPs, BluePoint, SuSe and any other companies/orgs are very
welcome to pitch in. if you come from or know someone from these orgs (some of
them are in this mailing list), please guide this message to the proper
channels.
