I use wget with the '-c' option, managed in the background by screen. I
use screen because it allows me to set labels so I can easily know what
I'm checking on when I put the screened process in the foreground to see
how it's going. I use wget and don't bother using ftp clients that do
multiple parallel downloads because I get to saturate my link as it is
with two active wget's. I wouldn't wanna cripple my system any more. (This
is a 256kbps downstream connection and I'm getting 340kbps actual
downstream so I'm very happy already). ;>
