Although the graphics were stunning, the story was... lame. It would
probably fall under Games-Turned-Into-Boring-Movies(tm) like numerous
others. It's proof that special effects even when applied to an entire
movie do not make up for good stories or story telling. Then the
limits of the technology really come across when you figure out that
the near lifelike figures on screen feel like plastic dummies that
come to life. The nuances of movement may have been closely matched,
but the faces remain stony, their range of expressions limited.

I'm looking forward to how they do "Lord of the Rings" and "Harry
Potter" which have stories to tell.
