A good friend of mine was kind enough to procure a copy for me (I only have
Dial-Up access for now). For those who are interested in having their own copy of
Solaris 8 -- 4 CDs for the Intel Platform Edition -- I may be able to burn some (I

there is a solaris 7 in the ateneo. i am pulling some strings to get
solaris 8 media kit. might take some time. but, it beats downloading the
blasted thing and wasting good bandwidth on software i just want to play
with.
