This is one of those things on my perennial To-Do list. What I'm planning
To Do is use Troll FTPD (which is probably the simplest FTP daemon out
there) and add PostgreSQL auth.
Adding PostgreSQL auth (in place of getpwnam()/getspnam()) is a trivial
undertaking. I've already done it for GNU POP3D (which is the simplest
POP3 daemon out there... you do see the pattern right? =)
There's just one problem: quota enforcement on uploads. If you have an
idea how to do this, I'd be glad to hear it. =)
