Orly's results look kinda wierd. I decided to use top to get the top 10
memory hogs on my system and here's the list, which looks pretty good:

Oh my gilagid! This is bad. Mine's after apache-ssl which comes after
licq. RSS is 5084 (5KiB?). Aside from the msttcorefonts, I have the
"standard" X fonts. Clients served: one right now, just me, using X on the
server itself.

Another oh my gilagid! Mine's doing 10MB from the above list. I'm running
XFce, licq, X-Chat, Opera with three windows open, Pine under wterm, and
two more wterms.

Oh, I don't use frame-buffers. Don't have them enabled in the kernel.

Am I glad Opera's not that bad, memory-wise (we wish it were GPL'd, of
course). 19MB * 2 isn't as bad as 66MB, although still not good enough
considering it's just a browser.

Oh my! :(

oh my. :(

Ouch. :(
Orly, I wonder what's up with your box. Hmm...
