#_ Checked the sync(2) manpage and "sync - commit buffer cache to disk".
#_ There is no manpage for flush(). So I'm wondering, what's the difference
#_ between flushing a data buffer, and commiting a buffer cache to disk (as
#_ with sync)?
If we go by semantics, sync will copy the data to disk while flush will
empty the buffers. This is how I understand it anyway.
