#_ Quick question though. I did not quite recognize the syntax on the crontab

#_ Is this a linux system with the Vixie cron?
Yes this is Vixie Cron on Linux Mandrake 8.0 That root is there because this
entry is a carry over from a Mandrake 6.0 setup I had a couple of years
back. I gues I don't need to specify "root" in Vixie Cron, although the
default Mandrake 8.0 install has "root" in it.
