I'm using gcc 3.0.2-0pre010826 to compile the Linux kernel
2.4.9-xfs-20010827 and things seem to be working well. I haven't had time
to do this on the server, yet, which is using the same kernel built with
2.95.4 (or some pre like that from sid).
Maybe tonight I can do that as a "breather" from using Excel to practice
for a statistics exam on Friday. Unfortunately I can't use StarOffice
because we use Excel in school and my getting familiar with StarOffice
will not help me any for my exams. Drat. And this is despite President
Nemenzo's letter to the community about StarOffice. Grumble grumble. :(
gcc-3.0 is doing pretty okay, so far. When 3.0.1 was released I didn't get
those segfaults like I did with 3.0. :)
