Oo nga, dont we have a local high speed mirror site wherein you 
can download practically all free software (not just linux). In 
Australia, they have a high-speed network connecting all universities and 
research centers. For example, if you install RH7.1, all you need is a 
floppy with bootnet.img then pt your source to mirror.aarnet.edu.au. 
After that, you can see RH being downloaded at 500kB/sec at least. After 
few minutes, installation is complete. That is astonishing considering 
the server is located at Univ of Queensland ( 2hrs by plane from ANU ).
        I guess this is one way of promoting linux.
