the "fax farm" project i did with the equinox card was already turned over
to our client (actually our client's client -- the project was owned by
another company and they outsourced it to us; dont ask me how that kind of
business works :) ) so far, i havent had any complaints. as a matter of
fact, because our end-client needed it, they wound up setting up TWO sets of
8-port cards...

i'm not really very experienced with the equinox card. ian points out some
disadvantages i havent encountered yet but nonetheless should be taken into
account. the one thing i can vouch for from my short experience is, it IS a
lot cleaner than having to handle a whole mess of separate modems and
cables. plus, its relatively painless to setup, so if you're in a rush and
you need everything working ASAP, equinox is a pretty good, reliable choice.
